On renewable energy, we represent many solar project developers and we have advised the IFC and the EIB on the financing on the first wind generation project.
We have been also advising developers on Power generation through oil shale powered projects and have recently been appointed by Sinosure as lenders’ counsel for the financing of the APCO Oil Shale Power Project.
Our energy team is also advising the project developers on a 3000 MW Simple and Combined Cycle Power Plant in Basra – Iraq.
We understand how these projects are structured, how risk is allocated, and bankability requirements.
