General Company Law
We represent corporate entities of varying sizes and provide an array of services; from preparation of shareholders agreements, company formation and registration through to structuring of special purpose vehicles including management and control rights, proxy contests, tender offers, indemnifications, recapitalizations, advising on company directors’ rights, company board meetings, memoranda and articles of association and shareholders’ rights and joint ventures.
Insurance
We advise various local and international insurance and reinsurance companies as well as insurance brokers regarding their dealings in Jordan. We also acted on the acquisition of a controlling stake in a local insurance company.
Our litigation team has been involved in a number of high profile insurance claims pertaining to maritime, construction, power generation and other claims. We also extended advice on legal issues associated with officers and directors liabilities under Jordanian law and mitigation measures through procuring D&O policies.
