Ziad established Khalifeh & Partners as a sole practitioner in 1983. Throughout his career, he has witnessed the development and modernization of Jordan’s legal and judicial systems, and he is regarded as one of the most experienced lawyers in the country, supported by an extensive and proven professional record. He is engaged in a broad spectrum of claims and arbitration proceedings, including matters involving real estate, construction, corporate issues, and the enforcement of foreign awards. Ziad also served as a member of the Jordan Bar Association’s Council for approximately 34 years.

Alongside his role as Managing Partner and Head of Infrastructure and Projects at Khalifeh & Partners, Ala’ has overseen a significant portfolio of renewable energy, water, and sustainable infrastructure mandates. He is particularly distinguished for his specialist expertise in advising on and navigating all facets of energy projects in Jordan and across the region. Over the past five (5) years, he has led the legal teams advising on the development of many of Jordan’s most prominent and strategically important renewable energy projects, a substantial number of which have been structured as PPP transactions.

As a Partner at Khalifeh & Partners, Khaldoun leads the firm’s Corporate, M&A, Privatization, and Energy practices, bringing extensive experience across projects, corporate, commercial, and investment law. He is particularly well regarded in the energy sector, having advised on and steered all aspects of several of Jordan’s most significant renewable energy projects over the past five years. Under his leadership, the firm has guided the successful and timely development of numerous energy initiatives, including the 50 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Ma’an, the 61 MW solar project in Risha, and a 50 MW solar project in Mafraq.

Iyad leads Khalifeh & Partners’ litigation group as a highly experienced and skilled litigator, having cumulated extensive knowledge of the law and the Jordanian court system over more than 25 years as a lawyer and appointed arbitrator. His practice covers a broad spectrum of claims and arbitration proceedings, including construction disputes, complex corporate matters, banking, enforcement of foreign awards, agency issues, labor matters, intellectual property, maritime, real estate disputes, and both commercial civil and criminal proceedings.

Fuad is a highly experienced litigator with extensive knowledge of the law and the Jordanian court system. His practice encompasses claims and arbitration proceedings across construction, labor, intellectual property, maritime, and real estate disputes. Fuad is also recognized for his legislative drafting expertise, having contributed to the drafting of numerous laws and regulations, including those relating to privatization transactions.

Baha’ joined Khalifeh & Partners in 2016 as a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice. With more than 12 years of experience in the legal field, he has extensive expertise in litigating labor, commercial, criminal, and employment disputes before the Jordanian courts. He advises both Jordanian and international companies on a wide range of claims and legal matters. His track record includes advising on high-value financing arrangements, major infrastructure and utilities concessions, and significant cross-border commercial and enforcement matters. He has represented government bodies, multinational corporations, international financial institutions, and major regional companies, demonstrating strong capability in managing complex disputes, navigating sophisticated project documentation, and handling high-stakes litigation and arbitration across diverse industries.

Moawyeh is a Senior Associate in the Corporate/Commercial and Projects Groups. He has led a number of corporate and financing transactions involving international donors, lenders, and investors. Prior to joining Khalifeh & Partners, he spent over a decade with the Jordanian Government at the CCD, where he oversaw all aspects of corporate incorporation, governance, and regulatory compliance for both domestic and foreign entities, including banks and other financial institutions. This experience has provided him with unparalleled insight into the legal and regulatory framework governing corporate and financial entities, establishing him as a trusted and highly effective advisor on banking and corporate matters.

Mohammad has been a Senior Associate in Khalifeh & Partners’ Litigation Practice Department since 2017. He brings extensive experience advising and representing clients on all aspects of labor relations, including disputes involving employers, employees, and unions. He is highly skilled in drafting legal agreements and consistently leverages his thorough knowledge of the Jordanian legal and court systems to secure favorable outcomes in complex litigation.

Noor joined Khalifeh & Partners as an Associate in 2016 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2022. She has extensive experience in acquisitions and sales, including conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents such as investment and shareholders’ agreements, and managing transactions through to closing. Noor also advises clients on day-to-day corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters, as well as a wide range of commercial transactions and agreements, including supply, franchise, joint venture, consultancy, and service agreements.

Adele is a Senior Associate at Khalifeh & Partners, working across the firm’s Projects, Corporate, Commercial, and Construction departments, with a particular focus on energy, communications, and technology-related projects in Jordan and the wider region. She also advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and associated financing transactions. Adele has significant experience conducting detailed due diligence and ensuring compliance with Jordanian law, while managing day-to-day corporate matters for a wide range of companies and corporate entities.

Dana is a Senior Associate at Khalifeh & Partners, collaborating with the firm’s lawyers across multiple jurisdictions on matters spanning project financing, energy and infrastructure, and corporate and commercial law. She is recognized for her meticulous attention to detail, with extensive experience in drafting legal opinions, providing client advice, and conducting comprehensive legal research across multiple markets and jurisdictions. Dana is particularly noted for her work on renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects in Jordan, with a focus on solar energy and solar wheeling projects.

Faisal has been a member of Khalifeh & Partners’ Litigation and Arbitration team since 2020, representing clients in civil and commercial disputes in Jordanian courts and both national and international arbitrations. His practice spans labor, civil, tort, and construction disputes, with significant experience in complex litigation and arbitration proceedings.

As an Associate at Khalifeh & Partners, Mahmoud works exclusively with the firm’s Litigation team, representing clients in financial, commercial, and civil disputes. He plays a key role in supporting complex litigation matters by reviewing case files, conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing detailed case memoranda and submissions. Mahmoud has extensive experience handling serious and high-stakes disputes before the Jordanian courts.

Raya joined Khalifeh & Partners in 2020 as an Associate in the Litigation Department and later expanded her practice to focus on Corporate, Commercial, M&A, and Energy matters. She has developed expertise across mergers and acquisitions, construction, real estate, renewable energy, and international arbitration, including claims under ICC and UNCITRAL rules, notably involving the Government of Jordan.

Miran is an associate at Khalifeh and Partners, specializing in corporate and commercial law. She graduated with honors from the University of Leicester in the UK. Her practice covers a wide range of legal services, including, but not limited to, the registration of various types of companies, managing company records with the Companies Control Department, and assisting in obtaining the necessary licenses and permits for relevant activities.
